- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP, and log data.
- Cookies: strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the Service.
3. How we use it
- to create your account and provide the Service;
- to compute compatibility and surface potential matches;
- to process subscription payments through Stripe;
- to prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms;
- to communicate with you about your account or the Service;
- to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your answers or messages to serve third-party advertising.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)

5. Sharing
- Other members see only what you choose to display on your profile and in messages.
- Service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting/database, Stripe for payments, email delivery). They are bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms.
- Legal & safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights and safety of users.
- Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. International transfers
We are based in Bermuda and may transfer your information to the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
7. Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

We do not sell or share personal information as defined by those laws.
Bermuda PIPA: if you are a resident of Bermuda, you have rights under the Personal Information Protection Act 2016, including the right to access and correct your information and to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Bermuda.
