Terms of Service

1. Who we are
indepthdating (the "Service") is operated by [Legal Entity Name], a company organized under the laws of Bermuda, with a registered office at [Registered Address, Bermuda] ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at support@indepthdating.com.
2. Eligibility (18+)
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By creating an account you represent that you meet these requirements. Accounts belonging to minors will be terminated.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your login credentials and for all activity on your account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it current, and not impersonate anyone else.
4. No background checks
We do NOT conduct criminal background screenings on our users. You are solely responsible for evaluating anyone you meet through the Service. Always exercise caution when interacting with other members, and never share financial information or send money to another member. If you believe someone poses a risk, stop communicating and report them to us and, where appropriate, to law enforcement.
5. Subscriptions, pricing and auto-renewal
Paid membership is billed at US$5 per month, charged in advance through Stripe. Your subscription automatically renews each month at the same price until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until then.
By subscribing you authorize us (through our payment processor) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. We will notify you of material changes to pricing before they take effect.
6. Refunds
Except where required by applicable law (including consumer-protection statutes in certain US states that provide statutory cancellation rights for dating services), subscription fees are non-refundable once charged.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- harass, threaten, defraud, or exploit any person;
- solicit money, goods, or commercial services from other members;
- post sexual content involving minors, non-consensual content, or content that violates any law;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or relationship status;
- scrape, copy, or resell any part of the Service or its data.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without refund.
8. Content you post
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that you will meet a compatible partner or that other users' statements are accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$100.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bermuda, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Subject to applicable consumer-protection laws that grant you a different forum, you and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bermuda for any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under the laws of your place of residence.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, where required, notified to you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
